New Scrap Room

This was a longer process than it should have been, but FINALLY, my new scraproom is open for business.

BEFORE PICTURES - show disaster! It was extremely stifling to my already tenuous creativeness. Too cluttered, too much stuff.

DURING... gone are the mirrors in the built ins! yeah!

AFTER - I used my favorite colors to liven it up. Put doors on over half the built in shelving unit for a neater appearance. I did some purging. There is still some stuff to be brought back into the room, but I just got my wonderful red worktable last night, so this is as far as I've gotten.

This red flowery fabric was my inspiration for the room. This is such happy fabric and I just had to do something with it!

This table was suppose to be white, but they screwed up and painted it red. I can live with it!!

So in love with this light!!! It's my flowery Disco Ball!

I am so excited with my room and my mojo is coming back now that my work table is back! Can't wait for company to leave so I can scrap again.

I'm Not Ready for Company!!

I knew that MME was going to feature me on their blog for my 100 Days of MME, but I didn't know when! I'm not ready! I'm in the middle of my scraproom remodel! Yikes!!!

Christmas in October

Don't know if I should do this, but I'm part of a Christmas Card Swap and want to put the cards I made on my blog. I can do that - right? My cards, my blog, no problem.

I was sitting on the back porch in this beautiful autumn weather and took this picture. The colors didn't turn out as rich as the colors actually are. But the weather was still beautiful outside.

Happy Fall!

I wish I lived in an area that actually had four seasons because I know that Fall would be my favorite. The colors of the leaves, the chill in the air, the excitement of the upcoming holidays, pretty new sweaters to wear, yummy food - think i'll move!

Old Feels like NEW!

So, I was rummaging around in my scrap room and I came across an old Scrapdango kit and guess what was inside......MME!! But the coolest part is I have never seen this paper IRL and I love it! I was as happy as a kid in a candy store! It's Quite Contrary and it's at least 2 or 3 years old! Love it!!!

I'm not much of a contest participant, but I decided to make a card to match my layout and submit to the MME Blog September Contest "Make It Work". Of course, I love Project Runway and Tim is a cool dude. So, here are my projects...

Just Chillin

The other day I was going through some older papers and doing a purge when I happened upon this line from Bo Bunny. It just made me smile because it's just so happy and love love love the colors. Needless to say, I didn't purge this collection!

If I keep digging.....

Life does happen. Taking care of a stroke victim has it's unexpected moments and scrapping and blogging had to take a backseat for awhile. Hopefully, all has settled down for a bit.

Did this page of my most adorable nephew, Ethan. The pictures were taken at a big Family Christmas Cruise in 2009,  6 weeks before Bob had his stroke. It was the last fun time we had together.

I missed yesterday. Who cares, right! I had the card done, but it started raining and couldn't take the pictures so I took a nap instead!
